I am the hummingbird of life.

My wings moving double time,

I hover holding still,

This is perfectly fine.

When I am finished

I follow the bread crumb trail.

Moving between the flowers,

Flitting from place to place.

I follow the sweetest nectar,

One that calls to my heart.

Curiosity is my lodestone,

Drawing me on,

It attracts and repels,

Guiding me on my way.

My direction seems random,

Moving along multitude of pathways,

It opens up possibilities,

Finding enjoyment in life.

I am not lit by a single passion,

With a beacon fire acting as the guiding light!

Instead, I drink and sip in life,

Not driven to a single goal.

Curiosity is my calling,

Intuition is its herald,

I am learning to listen and follow,

The calling of my heart,

I must trust where it leads,

Embracing a curious fuelled life.

I am not consistent or constant,

To one way of life.

I am not made for conformity,

Nor a single path.

My leading lights are many,

Like stars in the night sky.

Variation is the key,

To satisfaction and a quality well lived life.

I am the Hummingbird of life.
